We have had a very bitter/sweet past couple of weeks. We will start with the "sweet" part of our week. On Sunday, January 21, Madi turned 3!!! I can't believe she is three already. We had a great party. We had a Disney Princess Party for Madi. She loved it. We had friends and family over and had a great time. My sweet friend Alicia made Madi's AMAZING cake. It even tasted as good as it looked. Thanks so much Lish. We loved the cake. Madi got clothes, toys, art supplies, and a harmonica. She really got some fun stuff.
Now to the "bitter" part of our week. On Monday, January 22, we had to put our sweet B down. He has had cancer since the beginning of December. He was quickly going downhill so we thought it would be best to let him go before he got too bad. B was always such a wonderful dog. Until we had Madi B was our baby. We have sooo many wonderful memories of B. He was exactly what people say when they say a dog is a man's best friend. The last couple weekends we took B out to play before he had to go. He always loved being outdoors with us so that's what we did. We took him all over. We had lots of fun and we hope B enjoyed his last couple days with us. I am slowly getting used to having Casey around more. He is fun to have around. Well, there is a small update on what's going on in our lives. Have a great day!!
