4th of July Weekend!

What a busy weekend! We started in Provo Saturday afternoon at Rock Canyon Park. We went down the huge slip-n-slide set up on the hill and the kids played in the water too. Abi spent most of her time in the shade that day and was such a good little baby! Later that day we headed back to Kristen's house for a BBQ with great food. After that we headed back to the park to watch the fireworks from Stadium of Fire. It was a really busy day, but fun. It felt good to climb into bed that night.

Sunday was a pretty normal, uneventful day. I had a meeting at church and then came home to get everyone else for church. The kids were so tired from the day before and from being up soooo late the night before we ended up being really late. We were all dragging Sunday morning. Later Sunday afternoon we packed the kids in the car again and headed up to Bountiful. My parents were set apart as Missionaries. It was such a great experience being there. I'm really glad we went. My parents deserve to finally do something for themselves! They've spent so many years helping all of their kids and supporting us in all we did, it's great that they can do something just for them and we can support them now!! Love you guys!

Monday we got up bright and early and headed to Provo for the parade! It was overcast so it wasn't too hot and we had a great time watching all the floats and relaxing with the family!

We left the parade a little early to go see my parents off at the MTC. Again, I'm so excited for them!!

After the MTC we went to get a burger at Apollo Burger, hit the Dollar Store for some water toys and went up to Vivian Park to enjoy the sun and play in the water. I think Gary and Clay had as much fun, if not more fun, than the kids did with those water guns!!!

We got home later in the afternoon and did some yard work. The kids played with some friends, it was nice to be home. Our neighbors put on a firework show so we made some cookies and cream ice cream and took our chairs over to the park and watched the fireworks!

We hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday!!!! Happy 4th of July Everyone!
