Happy 4th of July!!

Wow!! What a busy day we had today! We had lots of fun though.. We started our day going up to American Fork Canyon to do some fishing.. Madi was excited to go fishing and they talked me into going with them. It was cooler up there than at our house so I decided to go up the canyon. Madi found a big rock to sit on and watch Gary fish.



After our fishing trip we headed up to Grandma and Grandpa Myers for a BBQ. Gary's cousin, Kevin, was in town so we got together to see his family. Uncle Wayne and Aunt Diane were there too! Madi had fun playing with Kevin's kids in our pool we took up there. We had a great lunch and enjoyed eachother's company. I retired to the basement to take a nap where it was a lot cooler. These hot temps are a real killer!

After Grandma and Grandpa's house we headed for Provo to Kristen's house for another BBQ. We like to go down there to see the fireworks at Stadium of Fire. We have a great view of the stadium from Kris and Clay's deck so it's fun to go down there. Again, Madi had fun playing with her cousins. Clay's Brother, Dayne and his family was down from Boise, so there were some extra kids for Madi to play with. Dayne's kids are cute and fun to have around. Madi has had a big day! Before the fireworks started at the stadium we headed down to a local elementary school to light some of our own fireworks.





After we were done there we headed back to Kristen's for the firework show. We didn't stay for the whole show because of the traffic jam we would have been caught in had we of stayed for the entire show. We saw enough and were ready to head home.
